TurboQuote Comes to the TurboDocx SDK, Powering the Next Wave of Agentic Quoting

CPQ is now a set of typed calls that developers and AI agents can run end to end: build a catalog, assemble a quote, price it, and deliver a finished PDF. TurboQuote ships in the TurboDocx SDK across five languages, and the agentic quickstart stands up a complete quoting flow in minutes. This is the foundation for quoting that runs inside agent workflows instead of a screen someone clicks through.

Jupiter, FL – June 11, 2026 – TurboDocx, the AI-native document automation platform, today released the TurboQuote module for the TurboDocx SDK, putting full Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) capability behind a clean, typed API. For the first time, the same calls that build a product catalog, assemble a quote, price it, and turn it into a finished PDF are available to both developers and the AI agents they build. Combined with the company's open-source agentic quickstart, a team can stand up a complete quoting flow in minutes. TurboQuote ships inside the unified SDK across all five supported languages and is available now.

Built for Agentic Quoting Flows

Quoting has always meant a person clicking through a screen: pick a product, set a price, add a discount, generate a PDF, hit send. The SDK turns each of those steps into a function call, which means an AI agent can run the whole flow. An agent working from a sales conversation can create the quote, pull the right products from the catalog, apply a price book, set terms, and send it for review, with no human touching a quoting UI.

Because the methods are typed and predictable, they map cleanly onto the tools an LLM already knows how to call. A sales agent, a billing assistant, or an internal copilot can treat quoting as a capability it invokes rather than a destination it links out to. That is the shift TurboDocx is building toward: quoting that lives inside agentic workflows, and a quote that is generated, priced, and delivered the moment a deal is ready.

Embed It in Minutes With the Agentic Quickstart

Getting there starts with the open-source TurboDocx Quickstart Skill. It works with the major AI coding tools, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenCode, OpenAI Codex CLI, and Gemini CLI. Developers install it once in any project with npx skills add TurboDocx/quickstart, then ask the agent for quoting specifically with /turbodocx-sdk turboquote.

From there the agent does the setup. It reads the project, detects the language and framework, installs the SDK with the project's package manager, writes the API key and org ID into the environment files, and generates working code that creates a quote, adds line items, sends it, and produces a PDF. For teams building a full catalog, it can also scaffold product, bundle, and price book setup. The agentic quickstart covers TurboQuote in JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, Go, PHP, and Java. The result is a real, running quoting flow in minutes instead of an afternoon of reading reference docs.

A Complete Quoting Engine

TurboDocx launched TurboQuote earlier this year as free CPQ included in every pricing tier. The new SDK module exposes that product as a clean, typed API. There is no separate package to learn or install: TurboQuote is a module inside the same TurboDocx SDK that already powers TurboSign, TurboPartner, and document generation. It reuses the same API key and organization ID as the rest of the SDK, with no extra credentials to manage.

Whether the caller is a developer or an agent, the module covers the full quoting lifecycle:

  • Quotes: create, read, update, list, duplicate, and delete quotes, plus status transitions for send, decline, void, and expiry handling.
  • Line items: add product or bundle line items with quantities, billing frequency, and discounts; update or remove them as the deal changes.
  • Catalog: manage products, bundles, and price books, then apply a price book to a quote in a single step.
  • Companies and contacts: keep the customer records that quotes are addressed to inside the same API.
  • Templates and types: control the look of generated quotes and organize them by category.
  • PDF output: download any quote as a finished PDF, ready to attach or store.

Five Languages, One API

TurboQuote follows the SDK's feature-parity guarantee: the same operations are available in JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, Go, PHP, and Java, each expressed in that language's idiomatic style. Teams can adopt CPQ automation without leaving their existing stack.

“The next era of sales tooling will not be people filling in quote forms. It will be agents that build and send quotes on their own, and software that embeds quoting wherever a deal actually happens,” said Nicolas Fry, Founder and CEO of TurboDocx. “Putting TurboQuote in the SDK is how we get there. We are handing developers and their agents the exact primitives to generate a quote, price it, and deliver it, and that quietly changes what a quote even is.”

Available Today

The TurboQuote module is available now in the current release of the TurboDocx SDK, and it is just the start. As AI agents take on more of the sales motion, the primitives shipping today become the building blocks for quoting that happens automatically, in the flow of work. Installation, configuration, and the full method reference are in the TurboDocx documentation, and the quickstart source is at github.com/TurboDocx/quickstart under the MIT license. Developers can claim a free TurboDocx API key at app.turbodocx.com.
